i really want a membership so i can play like it's 2007

i never actually played the game after 2007/2008, after i beat all the free quests. i just hung around, did holiday events, and traded. i never was a member but i remember alot of the old school quests since my younger brother was a member and played a TON from 05-07

now i can finally play as my brother did so long ago ; ;

i think its hardly worth it even if it was free. its like short term entertainment for nostalgia.
to pay for it seems pointless. since the only thing truly different is the dry pvp combat. i mean how much of that can a person really enjoy when they pay every month.

The other day, at the GE, I made over 300k selling hearts and mithril arrows to people. I treated myself to 3 pairs of Imp hide boots, a Steel LG set (for the wild), a steel 2h sword, a Warhammer, and some other things. Also, a friendly fellow fave me 20 sardines, free of charge.

but im out here still cutting wood for many hours. i pretty much force myself to remain at resources until i hit a level or my item goal. its the only way to make myself complete things, to force myself to not go back to town and enjoy life lol.

I buy all my stuff. I make money by killing stuff.

well i have plenty money to buy my skills.

but money dosnt buy mining and woodcutting and fishing and such. you still need to make the time for them.
if i want the all around exp for all skills, i may as well just make everything for myself.

and no matter how much money you think you can throw at things like runecrafting. its still free and faster to do runespan lol.
cant buy slayer. cant buy hunting. cant buy dungeneering.
you still gotta manually do stuff.

its not always about money.
