Author Topic: RuneScape - I'm not skilled enough to brush some dirt off this herb  (Read 813344 times)

I'm thinking more like having to pay real money for all elements of combat, so the rich people irl get to kill everything and everyone else really easily.

To be honest, this is likely to happen.

Combat isn't bad right now. Okay, the system is pretty poor, but at the combat is slightly more interesting than most of the other repetitive tasks available.
Update is also going to completely destroy AFK training, so goodbye Armoured Zombies and 100k xp/hr without doing anything :(

Guys.
You won't believe this.
I'm on squeal of fortune, and I spin once, get a small xp lamp for firemaking.
Then i got a ticket for 2 extra spins.
First spin on extra spin. Another loving ticket.
Then a small xp lamp
Then 5000
NOW ANOTHER loving SPIN TICKET HOLY stuff WHAT"S GOING ON HERE
Medium XP lamp
50K coins.
I'm so loving awesome

You're getting lucky with those double tickets :)

okay, im baby pking andddd just got wrecked with 35 str and 5 attack. Should I go to 10 attack or would that just through me off course?

maybe you should get a character that can actually do things.  str pures can't do stuff other than pk.

Yeah, level up Attack, Strength and Defence more or less equally and you have 98-99% of the game's combat content available to you. Be a pure and you have 1-2%, and that's mainly pking.

Besides, 1-item Dragon Dagger p++ pking at the wilderness lever (bots = easy kills) works with 85 defence :)

Im only pking? Im not doing the quests unless I have to to get a spec weapon.

At what point did anyone say anything about quests?

Well, nvm. My current stats are 35 str 5 attack 2 def ( i ment to only have 1)

What should I train now/should I not pure?

You can pure if you want, but unless you want to only ever pk you'll fail at combat in every other respect.
You could always just get Attack, Strength and Defence to 40, and then work on Strength and Attack. It's not a pure as such and allows the use of fairly decent armour (well, runite) and weaponry.

Up to you :)

I'm in need of some dungeoneering buddies for Daemonheim.
Floor 7
Complexity 6
And my Combat level is 24, with 21 mage, 15 range as well.

So, anyone interested?
I'll be at world 48, or if you F2P, say the name of a diff world, and I'll be waiting by the Castle.

I could do a floor or two with you if you like.

127 combat, 88 dungeoneering, so basically I do everything and you sit back and enjoy the ride :D

I was hoping for someone in my level range, but this oughta be interesting.
I wonder about your cooking level.

Eh, let's find out. I'm on w48 daemonheim right now.

FUNFACT: mages and rangers dominate pures. low defence and magic levels means mages and rangers hit extremely hard on pures. mages especially because they can use tangle spells, and since pures have 1 magic they never bounce.
