Author Topic: Fort Wars Gamemode  (Read 3258 times)

I was on a server called Scripted Fort Wars the other day, and this guy made sn entire script for fort wars. It was really good. it had team names, made you mine plastic, bricks had health, etc.

I was hoping for something like this, with:

1) Make a baseplate for forts that make it there territory.

2) Makes them mine materials to build.

3) Makes you earn a certain amount of points to get a certain weapon.

4) Restricts events such as additem(s) to the system listed.

5) Make it so you can have as many teams as you want in the mini-game.

6) A neat GUI

7) A money system that lets you buy and sell material and weapons. Vehicles would work too.

8) A Bounty Hunter System, that requires Bounty Hunters to be hired in order to kill people and they can't be killed by anyone who they are not hired to kill.

9) In the GUI you have an alliance system that allows you to ally with others.

10) A plastic-smelting factory so you can produce bricks, weapons, vehicles, etc.

The 8) is a personal part, but yeah, you get the point.

That's my gamemode. It's kind of buggy so if someone made this I wouldn't really care because they'd do it better hopefully.

I think a better way to do it is to earn your materials by killing one another. I'd rather hear people complain about killing builders than hear people complain about killing 'miners'.

Yeah, agree.

But could it be made also on a pref, that the SA's and Host can controll how far away and a safe time for the player to be "safeguarded".  I think there should be a '-1, Spawnkill'  Mod added.
^Sorry, I didn't explain it well.

2nd, there should be a conquering area that when you seem to take over an area (like a KOTH) or if you steal their flag, you capture a piece of their land.  One more note,  This would have to be like an Outpost flag or Capture point, and a HQ Capture point or flag.

The second idea is for more of a Nation RP.

Plus mI would like extra crap to keep it balanced.

The current script has the team and the plastic things that I want, but the rest of my ideas would need to be added.
