The art style used to be very generic like any other realistic FPS or whatever, but then the art director decided to quit and a new guy came in. They didn't have time to swap out all the art, so the guy merely had everyone put apply a shader to them which is like one button press in Maya, and suddenly it looks all original and stuff.
I actually find it funny.

The game looked better in the beta. :(

Not for me, I could never have enough money.
Really?
I maxed out before my 2nd playthrough.

is this more fun when you're not playing alone

i try to play with other people but they always suck

I got nothing to do I'll play.

YOU NEED THE MOST RECENT VERSION DERP

sigh

If we're playing i'll play too. I have all 3 DLC (unless if that newer one came out)

Do I need to own all the dlc if I want to play with someone who owns the dlc?

Did anyone else notice the shape of the guy's nose on the cover?

Lol poor guy, snake nose.

ONTOPIC: I'll get Borderlands once I get my PS3. :3

Anyone up for a game from really early in the game
I started playing today on pc but I've beaten it on xbox with my brother
I have just a level 6-7 soldier at the moment and playing alone isn't as fun

horribly repetative

however multiplayer questing for no aim is a huge joy.

One time I was in a 4 player game, 2 people were halfway across the map at base

Me and some other dude were trapped in this corner fighting the spider things, we were getting overwhelmed (there were like 3 badass, king and queen, along with millions of worthless)

We were pretty much dead as we couldn't stop getting downed
After like 5 minutes of an endless onslaught the other 2 dudes came and saved us

it was like a loving action move I swear
