It's like these people search every code in every new Valve game to find stuff.

They do it because Valve always does that.

Aperture?

Portal connection?

The golden wrench just came to mind.

Maybe EP3 takes place with Portal 2, so maybe EP3 is Portal 2.  :cookieMonster:

Alien Swarm is built on the L4D engine

I don't see what this has to do with ep3. Maybe they're swarm aliens that havent been implemented?

Woo, everyone's either old or dead except Gordon Freeman!  It probably takes place on an aperture ship.

Out of curiosity, is it not possible for someone to fabricate that?

Alien Swarm is built on a halfway between l4d2 and portal 2 engine.

Yeah, i was going to mention that aswell.
Just look at the menu GUI, it's VERY similar to Left 4 dead 2's.
And i believe there's dynamic lighting from the Portal 2 engine.

I love how in the SP forum they think this might "prove" EP3.

I mean, the game is going to exist. There's no point in scrambling for some evidence that Valve hasn't decided to drop the franchise where it is.

I wouldn't know any of this, as I don't play L4D2 or any thing. The closest I got to playing a Source or Valve game is HL2 on the old Xbox and Half-Life (1998) on PC. I don't have a good pc or Xbox 360

Was half life really THAT good?
