Hey, guys, I can't get BOLOPATCH full to work. It says it can't find character data, does the fact that I downloaded it off Steam matter?

It shouldn't, I have the steam version and it works for me. But it hasn't been working lately.

Just Cause 2 trained me to be a killer CIA agent!

What.

On the topic of realism in video games. Compare GTA San Andreas and GTA 4. GTA 4 was more realistic which dumbed down the fun factor. San Andreas' lack of realism made it so fun. Mowing down swarms of law enforcement agents with a minigun was a blast. But since Rockstar wanted more realism when they were making GTA 4, they cut the cool weapons like the stinger and the minigun, and they removed lots of the side missions. Also, I don't like losing over half of my health when I bail from a car.

Above is why Saint Rows 2 > GTA4. GTA4 is still a great game though.

I like how in RDR you can mow down tons of Mexican soldiers with a Gatling gun.

What exactly is Rockstar's hangup with making GTA an FPS, or at least doing it from a first person perspective? That would allow them to un-gay the combat, though over-the-shoulder is an... acceptable alternative to straight up third person.

An FPS GTA would be cool, but GTA is known for being 3rd person.

Yeah, I'm wondering why they decided to do it it like that though.

Probably cause it just sort of fit with the open world theme. Plus driving cars in first person/switching from first to third when you enter a car would of been weird.

Got the demo, the game is awesome. I love how cinematic the gameplay is.

I was on an ATV being chased by a couple jeeps and a loving tank. Drove off a cliff. Below it was filled w/ trees and rocks. ATV, being light as hell, flew over it all. The other vehis smashed and asploded :D

Was epic.

Definitely gonna get this game.
