You see.
The only thing i would care about in a scenario if i had a gun.
Would be if it shot bollet.

I have a (probable) stupid question about Rocket Propelled Grenades, can they actually not explode if they hit something at close range

or is that just video game logic?
It's possible that they won't detonate, there are some of Military horror stories about undetonated RPG warheads getting stuck in soldiers.

Video game logic. As long as the warhead hits something solid, it detonates.
See above, RPGs aren't very reliable weapons.

RPGs are perfectly reliable as long as the warhead collides with something solid, like a tank or concrete. They are not anti-personnel weapons, they aren't meant to be shot at people. People are soft and mushy.

Doesn't mean it's impossible. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBWi2GL2CTc&feature=player_embedded

The RPG warhead is set off by what is called a piezio-electric fuze. That's a fuze containing small piezio chrystals that when compressed at a high rate of speed generate an electric charge that detonates the warhead. Alot of times when you hear about a "dud" RPG that hits the target but doesn't detonate, 9 times out of 10, it's because the operator failed to remove the safety cap, or in this case didn't have enough velocity/ hit the ground at the right angle to generate the charge.
And by this logic, if you do fire at something close the warhead does have the chance to not ignite, this isn't a case of "the sun will come out in the morning". Just because it's not common doesn't mean it isn't possible.

Your trolling.

Also, RPGS are reliable. Imagine this: Try smashing a watermellon with your fist sometime.

Yuki can you explain to me, in cod4/mw2/black ops if RPG has those little fins like on the real life on the projectile, why the forget does the rocket change direction in a up/down/left/right motion all the time?

The fins are there to stop that, obviously they can't fully prevent it though. They're just there for mid-air stabilization, a real RPG doesn't change directions that rapidly (well, it depends on country of origin, wear, etc, etc. For example, an IDF booster and warhead will probably have "smooth sailing" and hit it's targets with no problems while an Iranian RPG won't have the same sucess.). But yeah, in the game it's for show/balancing, in a FPS like CoD a very intense level of realimism wouldn't be fun.

What a terrible brown townogy.

What a terrible brown townogy.
Really. I can easily smash a watermelon to pieces with my fists.

I don't mean reliable as in it won't blow up a tank but as in it isn't built like one. If an RPG (depending on warhead) hits a tank its gooooone.

I think you're stupid.

Goddammit you are the dumbest starfish I've ever seen. You wouldn't know what blatant sarcasm was if I screamed a sentence of it in your ear.

Your trolling.

You could have easily said "quit bein' a richard," but noo, you gotta pull the Troll card. And another Internet starfish Point to you for using "your" instead of "you're."

God what's your problem?

Obviously chasey KNEW it was sarcasm. You just made yourself sound like a handicap though as that was blatantly unneeded.
