Seems like a semi-good idea to me. I can already see some flaws to it having in the future but overall I think this is better than pavement.

Supposively they would pay for themselves in the long-run and you don't have to swap the all out at one time. Just gradually change out the roads and in a few decades we could cover the U.S. in Solar Panel roads.

This sounds like a good idea but solar panels do cost lots of money.

Did you watch the video? We're running out of petrolium for our roads. That's just going to skyrocket in cost. This would cost money, but save it as well by powering our houses and such.

Awesome idea, but it's so tedious. They would probably cost more time and money to repair and will be needed to repaired very often, but it really is a neat idea.
