No and no. Two of the worst songs imaginable, I wouldn't be surprised if someone threw a glass bottle at you. The only reason my school didn't maul the kids who played Fireflies was because they knew they were just playing around.

I suggest you try either:
A. Classical/Orchestral, such as Hans Zimmer or Tchaikovsky, or something really intense by Haydn perhaps.
B. Don't Stop Believing by Journey (everyone can dig it)
C. Come Sail Away by Styx (You cannot go wrong)
D. No Remorse by Metallica  ()

airplanes is a great song. fireflies i don't care much for, but still. don't stop believing is beyond overrated. no one's heard of styx, and metallica is just as overrated as smosh.

if he wants to play an up-to-date song, let him.

I decided if I do airplanes, I will ask my friend to  rap, and find a female friend  to sing. Preferably  one I don't know, and that I can impress :D
