If it had a better game base and more balancing, it would increase my likings of it quite a lot.  The campaign is the better part of the game in my opinion.  Online, is frankly just horrible.  Servers crash while migrating hosts constantly, you catch boosters in almost every free for all that you see, and no-one enjoys being spawnraped every two or three seconds by a chopper gunner/ac130.  And honestly, One Man Army and M203s?  I certainly hope that Activision has cleaned up its act by the next game or couple of games.  For their sake.

That only happens in about 1/15 games that I play, and it isn't as bad as you described it. Stop playing it on Xbox 360 then. Get a good gaming PC.

I occasionally play with a guy who hasn't bought the second map pack yet. Somehow, the previous packs are loaded with hackers.

I found a way around, though! We have about 10 people in our group who have all downloaded a MW2 Server Admin.

We all have pretty good computers, so it's pretty likely that one of us is hosting. Using the program, a person can sever the hacker's connection to the server, kicking him and banning him.


We try not to abuse it. We really do!

I've probably played a good 10 hours of this game online (PC and X-Box; Free weekends and my brother's copy) I've never encountered a single hacker.
