Otto and Interception is just trying to cover up what was left of their pyramid scheme after it collapsed. Each made an estimated three million Euros then flew off to Canada in order to lead a new life. There, they met Chrono, who was recently deported after a love scandal with Mayor Bapspot. He owned a quant bed and breakfast there, which he inherited from his long-lost uncle whom died in a freak ballooning accident several years earlier.
When Chrono discovered who Otto and Interception were, he immediately threaten to call Canadian Authorities (As if that were threatening. :3) and have both convicted. In a desperate attempt to free themselves, they offered a partnership and split of the shares to Chrono, who took well over a third of the total sum.
Unfortunately, Taboo found out about this sudden income and demanded Chrono to pay child support. Little did Chrono know a Taboo, Jr. was conceived prior his deportation. Which, of course, angered Jak for he felt Chrono and him shared a special bond. :o
