almost all the challenges in paper mario games are in the turn-by-turn battles and they removed that

I own both the original PM and TTYD, both of which I have never beaten. I've only watched an LP of SPM, but I still want to try it myself.

I nearly beat TTYD, but I was a stupid and decided to battle the Shadow Queen with no health items. Couldn't go back.

im level 27 on TTYD and all the enemys ive beaten all give me around 2 or 4 star points and i used the W and L badges to turn mario purple like waluigi :D

this series is so much easier with a defense-piercing hammer badge, spike-shield, and slow FP regen :D

I could never finish the Pit of 100 trials.

i went in around chapter 6/7 and got to level 70 and left because it was getting too hard

used Showstopper on the last few levels

In the Japanese version of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Vivian was said to be male. That is stated in Vivian's character description, which is roughly translated as "One of the shadow group, Vivian appears to be a girl but is really a boy." Additionally, Goombella's Tattle reads: "That's Vivian. Of the shadow group, she's the youngest sister... er, brother."[1]

While Beldam uses the term "majotachi" (meaning a group of sorceresses) to refer to her, Marilyn and Vivian as a collective, she also calls Vivian "Man" (as an insult). Despite this, female pronouns such as "her" and "she" are used when referring to Vivian, though this may be because it is considered proper to refer to transgendered persons by the gender they identify themselves with.[2] In addition, Goombella seems to conclude that she is female during the game's ending.[3]

You have to beat 20 of them to continue the story, but the actual challenge is 100 battles
