Author Topic: Awesome restaurants  (Read 2871 times)

I made this topic to discuss restaurants you've been to that go above and beyond in regard to nearly everything; food, service, atmosphere, etc. My family and I just went out to an amazing Moroccan restaurant and I loved it. The food was delectable and all completely made from scratch. The restaurant, being Moroccan, had belly dancers. They were excellent and very well-practiced, doing dances with various objects such as swords and small "cups" lit on fire. The place was decorated exquisitely. It was greatly authentic, too; the tables and chairs (well, they weren't really chairs, they were more like stuffed cushions) were low to the floor, like they traditionally are in east Mediterranean/middle eastern countries.

Talk about restaurants you've been to that leave a lasting impression (a good one, of course).

Planet Hollywood, rain forest cafe and hardrock cafe.
Those are the best.

Also there's a restaurant around where I live, the first time I went there I was blown away. The place looks so stuffty on the outside, like it was a failed theme restaurant from the 80's, but you walk in the door... the restaurant is just amazing, the waitstaff all know exactly what their talking about, the atmosphere is classy and casual at the same time (wtf paradox) they've got a huge bar and they make a great steak.
