Go away please. This and nba jam are perfect for wii. Do you need online play? These games are appealing the the split screen market, not the uber 1337 online pwnsorr!!!! market. Face it, most people probably own at least 4 controllers from Wii. It supports all of the controllers out there too, so controls won't be a problem. The only real reason you're whining is the graphics. Graphics < Gameplay. Also, they couldn't get it licensed for Xbox. Rare isn't making it, it's by a company named Eurocom. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurocom ) Cry some more about the lack of achievements, they're pointless. They just make a number by your name get larger.
You assume because I like online play that I'm ultra-competitive, or that all online players are ultra-competitive, which says to me that you're loving handicapped. All of my friends that I play games with I am friends with over live, so it's simply a convienience that games have an online play. Splitscreen is more of a hassle and an artifact nowadays, as it was invented for multiplayer specifically, but we're in the era of online gaming now. Sure it's fun once in a while but just generally it's outdated, like a drive-in movie theater. I know the Wii supports controllers, I'm not stupid. As for graphics vs. gameplay, I'm not an ignorant forgettard marcem. Of course a game is nothing without gameplay, but it's impossible to argue that aesthetics are not important in games. I love Perfect Dark, but lets face it, the N64 version is so heavily outdated that it's ugly as sin. As for achievements, it's called metagaming, they provide a sense of accomplishment and something extra to a game. No stuff they make your "score" rise, but now you're arguing that scoring is pointless. FINALLY, I didn't know Rare had sold the rights.
In summary, you're an idiot.
Still, the Wii has like no multiplayer base.
Probably because instead of making it organized, they invented some sort of obnoxious code system.
Feels like they just took Modern Warfare and shoved elements from it into Golden Eye, the game looks ruined to me and the feel as well. Regardless of what people are saying (None of which have played) I'm definitely not getting a wii for it let alone buying it in the next 6 years.
I'm going to agree. I just watched the gameplay videos and it looks as if they didn't just update it, they redesigned it quite a bit. Perfect Dark was perfect on the arcade because it was updated with higher-resolution textures and models, but nothing about the core gameplay was changed, even the voice acting was left alone. I think those are important because it preserves the nostalgia.
