also, not totally sure but i would assume that this would lag like heck.
this is what i mean, stuff like this should be in blockland. PHYSICS, stuff like a ball with roll down a hill and that you trip if you hit a rock(major lol) and all kinds of cewl shiz that would make blockland frigan epic!
go to bedroom map, fly into window, find a hill, spawn a vehicle spawn, spawn the ball vehicle. =o!

also, for the tripping on a rock, would be rather irritating, also thats in roblox, it is irritating there.

If you get hit by a flying brick it hurts/kills you? sound good?

Bricks being calculated as having 'weight' for stress/collapsing may make some real-world structures impossible as we have lighter/denser/stronger materials in some cases - a 1-tonne weight would collapse a floor made of polystyrene but not thick steel or maybe thinner metals with reinforcing bars. Unless you went through some very complicated options menus per paint type...

The part about bricks left floating collapsing is possible but makes rockets etc. a lot more destructive.

If it's ever made, make it a default add-on.
Then, keep it disabled.
So any man who is sensible will use it.
If not, they won't

Doing load bearing would be cool. It could add a lot of fun. (Shoot bridge supports, bridge crashes down, for instance.)

However the physics stuff in there does not do that. It would require an additional brown townysis system - there's no way you'd efficiently figure it out using a normal physics solver for 100k bricks.

Maybe some future version. But not this one. :)

No, what we need to REAL physics. An example would be water that falls from a brick and splashes on impact of another and is able to drip of the side of a table and so on. THAT would be amazing.
That would be like in v.30 ? because blockland is not a HUGE company in hollywood that owns there own studio and everything you know...

I like it, or maby you can turn "Advanced Physics" on in Server Controll.

Actually, i tried to make this fakeChainKill event, it fake kills the brick and the bricks its supporting.

It would definitely take a lot of work to code, not to mention you'd actually require a good CPU for it. Since most people on Blockland have low end computers they would all be wondering "WHY I HAVE NO COOL PHYSICS :( OMG ITS WINDOWS FAULT FOR stuffTY HARDWARE".

It'd be cool though but it would require a lot more coding.

What about a brick coming down Shouldn't that kill you?

brick "corpses" are client-sided, not everyone would see the brick at the same place and as such you could be killed by a falling brick you couldn't see.

I see but what if someone did a Fake kill brick with velocity wouldn't that make it Be in the same area no matter what?

No, collision calculation is very inaccurate, especially in torque.
