Whenever I press the 'New' button the game freezes. If I minimise it and bring it up again, it's on a screen with like a box earth and the earth, but it won't progress past that no matter what I do. And yes, it's updated.

The updater doesn't seem to work, and the download page on the OP is outdated. =P

When I start the game, the message to the left says "V4.1.52".
