oh what the hell, first my dwarves park on a mountain, but now they top it off by parking their wagon on top of a loving "dark human" tower.

oh what the hell, first my dwarves park on a mountain, but now they top it off by parking their wagon on top of a loving goblin tower that was taken over by humans.

they are probably the goblins themselves...

sometimes teh goblins die out and the human slaves live on and are basicly goblins themselves.

I seriously dislike this embark point.
I got attacked by zombie carp when I started, the magma sea is 21 layers down, I hit the cave that had a magma vent four layers down, all I managed to find was a little bauxite and some lignite, the cave is infested with troglodytes and there's even a goddamn giant cave spider just standing down there. Not to mention, this is only the first spring.

You had me interested until I saw that picture, at which point I nearly puked bile onto my keyboard.

fresh from the update oven

Goblins capture so many kids that eventually they're overwhelmed by the different races that outnumber them. They don't have children and are immortal and so slowly die off, leaving friendly (or not so friendly) races behind. I remember being at war with six races at once, the elves, humans, cats (yes, cats as a race), wizards, orcs and merpeople (who suffocated instantly when they got onto the map, which is hilarious).

If you haven't made a mermaid death camp, you have not lived.

holy stuff mega flock of unicorns

get some archers and kill them

they're very vulnerable to arrows especially steel and they're worth a ton

does Pump Operating increase strength?

Heh, my new machine can run a new embark at 300+ FPS.
does Pump Operating increase strength?
In 40d it buffed strength, toughness and something else, not sure if it still does.

Dwarves sure know their priorities:

link to that good tile set with like real looking stones and stuff.
