They tried not to portray Goron, there's nothing worse then an self confident, whiny or annoying character and not making him talk was the best way to let the players decide who Goron is.

I think the movie isn't going to be live action, more like in-game CG, perhaps Live action but it might ruin the experience?
I think the solution to this is to simply make Gordon talk as little as possible.
After all, he's a man of few words- not a man of no words. Just because you never see him talk in the game doesn't mean he's never spoken.

He'll probably have a fair bit of dialogue, who knows maybe the movie won't have a heap of dialogue overall. Its all pure speculation and we know no facts other then Valve wants to make a HL movie but not guaranteed to do so.

Also: I said Goron, to much Zelda World is effecting me.

I thought they said this years ago and then gave it up

Half life 1, the movie; coming soon.

90th birthday present maybe.

The only reason Gordon didn't talk ingame is because it would ruin it. The player is supposed to feel what Gordon is feeling and see what Gordon is seeing.

Only fans of the game would end up seeing because if they made it just like the game it would be confusing. I still wonder who or what gman is.
