Nice job wasting money.

The game is totally worthless now. The developer is gone, the multiplayer ended long ago and the game is still riddled with bugs and various dreadful memory leaks that make the game unplayable after an hour or two, even on very high end computers.

Hopefully Cities XL 2011 won't suck. But I will admit Cities XL was a really weak and broken stepping stone, curved bridges and realistic terrain 'n' all that.

It's true. I felt like the whole game was an infinite loop of just building and building due to the fact that I could only make profits by mass-zoning and setting the time speed to the fastest. Whenever I stopped zoning lands to like, I don't know, take a breath or at least look at the surrounding area, the profits went from +$10,000 right down to around -$50,000. I don't even know why.

We kind of established that the developer and all support for Cities XL is gone.

There is no technical support or customer support for this game anymore. The only support you'll get is from Cities XL 2011's new developer.

It was a total waste of money and after reading about the huge memory leaks and dropped support/bankrupt developer, there is NOTHING this game is worth for. Just check the Steam forum section for this game. It is filled with threads that are named along the lines of "do not buy this game" or "why has monte cristo abandoned their game?" "when will the leaks be fixed?".
