A boy wakes in a surreal dream world.
He is surrounded by abstract cities, dank forests, perilous caverns and explores this place he finds himself in. Along the way the is pursued by a faceless mannequin in a business suit. During the story he rescues the only other sign of life he finds, which is a dog, from a forest manifested by nightmares. The boy treks across different plains of existence trying to learn who he is and why he's in this place.
In the end it turns out the boy is in a coma after trying to kill himself and dies from his injuries.
