Too bad it's IR.
If it wasn't it'd be badass.

IR?
Incredibly Ridiculous.

Anyway, I'm considering getting one, probably a 1000 mW Blue.

IR?

Infer red.
You can't see the beam. So it doesn't look bad ass. This is also the reason why so many lasers are ripoff. They don't offer Ir protection built in, so pointing it one way, might also be pointing a Ir beam your way.

Incredibly Ridiculous.

Unless you want to pay about $30 for snail mail I would wait. Wicked lasers is having mass issues with those lasers if it's a first laser than I would get something more low powered, if you do get it by extra pairs of glasses even looking at the beam can blind you. So unless you're the only one in your house by extras, no matter how much it will cost.

ostuff, typo. I meant to say 100 mW, my bad. But I'll probably still wear sunglasses while I'm toying with it, just in case.

MAYBE IF I ADD SOME RANDOM COMMAS, THIS SENTENCE WILL LOOK, BETTER.

NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!

By saftey glasses, sunglasses do nothing. I have a friend who went blind through one eye (Almost blind) thinking he would be "Ok"
using sunglasses.
They might make it easier to look at the dot but it will still effect your eyes (Btw, even looking at the dot of a laser can harm your eyes)
Also, if you're willing to spend $50 on a blue laser go ahead and spend $80 for double the mW.

I do that!

I would be wearing them specifically for the protection against the dot's brightness, I'm smart enough to angle the laser away and stuff so that there will be zero chance of accidental blindings. I won't just shine it into mirrors and stuff.

http://www.wickedlasers.com/lasers/Sonar_Extreme-88-42.html I might get this, it's the cheapest burning laser I could find.

Read the op. The cheapest burning one Is the red one. (From the op)

Don't be a fruit loop. You don't get that even looking at the dot with sunglasses can harm your eyes. It might just make it confortable for you to look at, but it's still going to harm it, slowly.
You never know, when whatever your pointing at moves, and hits a window, and even the slightest reflections, will forget your eyes up.
I'm just saying, your eye's safety shouldn't be at risk, because you couldn't spend $20 extra bucks.

Wicked lasers got some new lasers, and a price drops.

(Same prices as the last price drop, but more variety and a sweet deal)

You can also get 3 100 mW lasers, all different color, for $125...

Has anyone even bought any yet?

What's the cheapest burning laser out there? Daed has no money :[
