Yup, there seriously is no downside to it, comparing it to Xbox Live of course.

Fine connection, Online store, etc, etc

It's too short of a game. :/

It'll take a few tries at nearly half the points in the game, but it's short.  Beat it in and hour and thirty minutes tops.

You can't actually feel blood pouring from something you sliced in half could you?

Are those games completely, uh, interactable? Could punch a king in the face or fall down a cliff? Obviously you'd get a game over if you did that though, unless if you survived somehow.
