It has to be a 4x4 cube or else it's entirely pointless. A 'cardboard' box is about as obvious as a Blockhead.

I think that if you right click while the box is equipped, the model should change between a few different types of objects, such as a 4x4 cube, cardboard box, a barrel (like in TLOZ:WW), or maybe the minijet or something?
