Author Topic: So I was reading about Blockland on WikiPedia.  (Read 1049 times)

And this came up.......

Blockland is a game of building that helps kids learn Engineering.

Stupid thing to have there.

BUT THAT'S HOW I GOT MY MASTER'S DEGREE

Its Acutally pretty True.

Physics don't usually apply in this game, so I would have to say that it encompasses more architecture than engineering...

someone change this now.

If you're trying to raise awareness about the game there's way better places to do it. You could maintain a Blockland megathread on another forum, or you could contribute to an independent games site, or you could throw videos up on youtube. If you're just trying to document the existence of Blockland so in 200 years people can find a disk of wikipedia and find out about Blockland then you're in the right place, but you're going to have to fight it out with other Blockland users, roblox users, and wikipedia editors.

now that's a good idea

In your face stereotypical gaming haters who claim gaming melts your brain...

Then again, I don't see how Blockland can get anyone any qualifications related to engineering or architecture.
Reason:
You can make bricks invisible, floating and even placed on the bottom of another brick without any visible connection except textured tops and bottoms.

I'm on it :D
