Author Topic: Banned from Wizzards  (Read 4293 times)

SS doesn't have a topic, doesn't do stuff aside from the same TDM that they have had for months now, and the only one I know who is in the clan is Kinex.

Real successful.

It's all good, except for those stupid fighters.

It is good, but what I was saying is that they aren't exactly producing new servers regularly.

I got sick of the server after they refused to host the old one.
It used to be my favorite server...

Anyway, yeah, most of their admins are unreasonable.

Anyway, yeah, most of their admins are unreasonable.

All ScatteredSpace Server Moderators follow strict guidelines that require them to warn an offending user, kick the user if they are uncooperative, and finally ban the user for a limited amount time. If the user is still offensive, they may be permanently banned. Server rules are located here.

I feel that those guidelines are pretty reasonable.

Also, if you find one of these Moderators being unreasonable/abusive with said power you can report them to the Administration so they can deal with them.
Just because they are admins, it doesn't mean they can do whatever the hell they want and bully people.

you joined here, which is the house you built while i was watching and suggesting stuff :D
That's when I changed my mind.

Several of the rules stated are interpretation based, a long with some rules that the moderation team must abide by.  Each individual moderator should have their own form of administration, for, without it, they'd simply act as a robot.  Take for example, the fact that intellectual argument is key in the foundation of common comprehension, and, yet, I was removed from the team for promoting that same concept.  Make the attempt to justify my removal, as you've tried in the past, but don't simply restate "We've discussed the issue and no longer want you on the team."  The poor decisions, that arise from the ignorance floating around the administration team, is the primary reason for the recent drop in SS's reputation.  SS has kept the same rules and structure for years, and the administration is still reluctant to chart up a revision.  The simple consideration of a new idea is usually shut down by all head administrators.

SS has great potential, but it lacks proper leadership.

Your post was not a question so I did not respond to it. To answer it, however, see the following quote from GMoney (an administrator of the community) that explains the language controversy:

On the topic of swearing on the dogfight, we've been pretty lenient since this topic has came up and are only really banning for spam-swearing and users generally only wanting to cause more of a disruption than playing on the server.

Good for them. They're still a pack of morons leading a bigger pack of morons.
As far as I can tell, KINEX is a good guy. That's all I'm really aware of.

I'm just telling you they've been around a lot longer than a good amount of the people here. I'm pretty sure they know how to run a clan.

Tom

If you think swearing is so bad, you might want to censor it in your ban reasons and not let your admins ban for reasons like "Being a douche bag to other players.".

Kinex, you need to learn to lighten up and chill out.  You are 20, aren't you in college?

I don't considered "douche bag" to be a curse word, really.
The only cursing that is currently unappreciated, that I'm aware of, is the quote above that GMoney explained.

Got a name? We can look up the report. Generally, what we hear from others is not always accurate.
