I've been playing the Sims 3 all day.

I had two kids, my character died, his wife is now an elder and his eldest son is a young adult.

My first son's first wish as a young adult was to kiss another Sim by the name of Errol Hart. I was surprised to find out it was another young man.

Should I make a new family on sims 2 plus all the expansions? Or 3 with Latenight and Ambitions?

s Latenight worth it? Like is there anything REALLY special about it.

sims2 had a lot of content, but i love how perfectly sim3 is optimized. the game just runs great even on stuffty computers. it even recovers itself from crashes (MID crash) and continues without a loss in anything.
the game is just smooth. and you can go out and among the town without all the loving loading. you can get many things done all over the place where in sims2, you make a menial visit to a club, and your day is shot, and you go to bed to late to function for a week.

s Latenight worth it? Like is there anything REALLY special about it.

Hot tubs and other instruments such as the piano are back and there are some DECENT looking clothes.
I'd rather have World adventures though.
