Author Topic: Kirby's Epic Yarn  (Read 1994 times)

I haven't seen a topic about this lovely game here yet, so here it is!

Kirby's Epic Yarn is the latest home console game since Kirby's Air Ride. It's pretty cute in graphics and story line.

While walking through Dream Land, Kirby spots what seems to be an odd looking tomato and decides to eat it. However, the tomato, revealed to be a "Metamato", belonged to an evil wizard named Yin-Yarn who becomes angry at Kirby and sucks him into the magic sock around his waist. Kirby ends up in Patch Land, where everything, including himself, is made of yarn, making his normal powers useless. Kirby saves a young prince named Fluff from an enemy using the Metamato's powers to transform. Fluff explains that Yin-Yarn has separated the various patches that make up Patch Land. Needing to find the golden threads that tie the patches together, Kirby decides to help Fluff restore Patch Land and defeat Yin-Yarn.
copy pasta is my friend.

It has familiar characters in it like King Dedede and Meta Knight, who are bosses in the game. It also seems that Whispy Woods and Kracko will make an appearance as bosses like usual.

Gallary of Epic

I personally played this cuddly game at my friends house. It's really nice, but I wasn't used to the controls. Oh well, there's time to learn.

Discuss this yarn of epic.

Basically, you turn into a car to dash, a tank to unzip things sideways, submarines underwater, a parachute for slow falling, and a bunch of other cool minigame-like gimmicks such as making paths for a train, becoming dolphins for fast swimming and stuff like that.

Not exactly came-worthy, but cool.

the soundtrack is realy good, theres even some old songs in there :D
