rantingblahblahblah... I really couldn't give a fluttering forget, more ranting

SERIOUSLY LOL

I said that aloud to myself, in many theatrical and dramatic ways and each of them made me laugh. Bravo.

You make good points though.

I'm hereby the king of Page 100.

Pet of the Queen of page 100.

Statistically speaking, most pot smokers are lazy and failing in life.

I would love to see this statistic. I smoke marijuana almost daily. I work out 4 times a week, and run 7 times. I currently work in a tech shop making ~$20 an hour. I'm graduating from highschool 2 years early.

Like that? forget your statistics.

My brother is 27 years old, I've never seen him not high, has a masters degree in architecture and is currently working for some major firm.

My other brother is 25, he's almost always high, he graduated from college and is currently working for his masters in sound engineering. He works at the same recording studio Kanye West records at.

I digress, forget your statistics.

I trademarked that stuff.

So, how was Riddler's birthday, the anniversary of the Columbine shooting, AND the bp oil spill?  I may be missing some other things.

Sounds like you and your brothers Monocle

And seriously, I wanna hang out with you. You're a pretty cool guy.

I wonder if there is even one famous musician who stayed sober through their career..?

Because any of those things have to do with marijuana.

Plenty.

The "average stereotypical pot smoker" doesn't spend much of their lives online, like our friends here who have demonstrated a depth and knowledge of other subjects. The fact that they smoke weed as well, but don't fit the stereotype makes perfect sense. If they were doing stereotypical crazy things while high, or getting into other drugs thanks to marijuana, they wouldn't be here talking to us about it.
Can you show me any examples of this "depth and knowledge of other subjects". I rarely ever see anything intelligent posted around here anymore.

Ok maybe we have slightly different ideas of a stereotypical post smoker. the stoners I've seen are usally lazy, stupid, failing school and always getting into trouble. Now, I may not easily be able to assume of people here are stupid or getting into trouble, but just the simple fact that they don't have anything to lose by getting caught smoking weed shows that they probably aren't doing great in school. No intelligent person would risk it all just to feel high. And then the fact that they just smoke some weed to feel good, instead of putting some engry into doing something slightly more productive shows that they are lazy.

I've also noticed the people who advocate against weed know absolutely nothing about it. They figure if you smoke it, and it's not tobacco, it needs to be illegal because people turn into crazy ass monsters using it. The funny thing is, as mentioned earlier in the thread, tobacco is far more harmful, and yet it's been pretty much always legal for the past several centuries when it was discovered. People still don't advocate to get it banned even after having been proved severely harmful. I saw a sign outside a hotel that said "Warning: Tobacco has been proven to cause cancer, or other serious health problems. Please know you may be exposed to smoking in here" or something like that, it's from memory, idk.
Well I also find that people who smoke weed think they know everything about it just from their experiences and some liberal stoner websites. Yet no one here has been around long enough to prove or disporve any long term effects.

Also, many people fail to realize that our government is pretty much making tabacco illegal with all of it's taxes/ warning labels. Another thing people tend to not notice is that it is hard for our government to do anything about tabacco because of the industries lobbyist. Tabacco is a multi-million dollar industy, and believe it or not, they have some power in the governent through lobbying.

You act like you know about weed, when in reality you do not.  You don't belong in this topic, seeing as you have no idea how weed effects you.
How do you know that? I've done my research before posting here, probably more than you have every done. Also, now I sit in front of a stoner in class so I hear about it all the time. Like I said earlier in my post, smoking weed doesn't make you know anything about the long term effects. You'll have to wait and see if it harms you or not in 30 years.

And monocle, try harder. Everything you are saying is probably BS

4/20, man.  :cookieMonster:

Tom

I'll try looking up my statistic again, I couldn't find them earlier because Google is now flooded with 420 stuff.

I can't even argue with Tom, and i'm burnt to stuff.

Night.

The most intelligent people on this forum have smoked weed at least once, it doesn't define you as a horrible person. For some it relaxes, for some it focus, and yes, for some it makes them douchebags but it's really based on your personality in the first place. I can't really respond any further, because this stereotype is just as wrong as any other, only slightly true to an extent. You only hear about the lazy stupid pot smokers because they're the ones who get caught, and don't care.
Well I also find that people who smoke weed think they know everything about it just from their experiences and some liberal stoner websites. Yet no one here has been around long enough to prove or disporve any long term effects.

Also, many people fail to realize that our government is pretty much making tabacco illegal with all of it's taxes/ warning labels That's not making it illegal, that's making people aware. And people can be aware all they want, the idea being the government is clearly putting a priority on pleasing the lobbyists, and making more money, then they are about at least trying to keep the country healthy. And making people aware isn't working. Another thing people tend to not notice is that it is hard for our government to do anything about tabacco because of the industries lobbyist. Tabacco is a multi-million dollar industy, and believe it or not, they have some power in the governent through lobbying.
How do you know that? I've done my research before posting here, probably more than you have every done Haha, what? The advocates for marijuana have presented more solid evidence and proof than you have ever. Let's see your extensive research, plus the numbers you aren't telling us that back your view, then. . Also, now I sit in front of a stoner in class so I hear about it all the time. Like I said earlier in my post, smoking weed doesn't make you know anything about the long term effects. You'll have to wait and see if it harms you or not in 30 years. It's been loving proven to not to a damn thing that will put your life in jeopardy, or cause major health issues to you in any way.
