A reason to not fear death.

I've been thinking for a while now.
I have decided that I'm not afraid of dying.

Not to say that I'm looking forward to it, but I wont mind it so much when it comes along.

The reason is because I am really interested in what happens when you die.
It's one of the most intriguing thoughts I've had in months.

For example, if God really does exist, what happens after you die, to reach heaven, or hell?
Or if he doesn't, do we just reside in darkness for the rest of our soul's existence?
Or maybe we get reincarnated into another body, whether being human, or animal?

But I'm still very much afraid of pain.

I wonder if whatever comes after life is within our own mind. If you think you're going to go to heaven and meet other deceased people, that's how you'll experience it. If you believe you are going to go to hell, or exist in some eternal darkness, so be it.. If you think you're going to be reincarnated, you get a 1-up. That raises the question of whether this life is just the experience of someone who believed in reincarnation and that's when I start getting heartburn and wanting to take a nap so I'm out of this topic.
