Mac or Pc?

Ok, let pretend you had won a contest and you had to choose between a iMac OS X with Snow Leopard (they also made it so you can play anygame in the world without lag), or get a Dell with windows 7.

Physical Differences
Bigger Screen (Mac) You're loving handicapped. You can buy a different monitor for your PC.
No tower... thing (Mac) Yeah, Mac's don't have a tower but you can't change parts easily.
Alot more pixels, HD (Mac) Resolution you mean? Also the OS has nothing to do with resolution. :/

No idea (both) You're an idiot.

Basicly, OP has no loving idea what he's talking about and should come up with a better arguement.

Here's My Differences
PC - Easy To Change Parts
Mac - Nice Looking GUI But It Uses More Resources
PC - Cheaper
Mac - Not A Lot Of Supported Programs (They're Starting To Get More Programs Though)

Overall PC's are a bit better at the time but Mac's are starting to pick up in the OS race.

the fact that they are open to any and all hardware is great.
PC's available hardware is always going to be cheaper then macs, and available at 2x-3x the power.

That's total bullstuff and the OS has nothing to do with running in game. If anything games run slower on Macs because their GUI uses a lot of resources. A PC can easily run a game like Crysis on max settings and cost half the price than a Mac.

These arguments are always pointless and end in at least 1 person getting banned. They're both incredible pieces of technology one way or another. In my personal opinion, PCs are used more for gaming and just basic work with say photoshop or some other editing software, some audio composition etc. While Macs aren't for gaming (well, they are getting there now) but more rather for professional work such as audio composition/editing, graphic work etc. I've always found it easier and my macs more reliable for all the above, while I also have a pc for gaming. But, as previously stated, its all opinion and what you really want.

It all pretty much comes down to preference and functionality, but my Mac has ranked higher in both so far, so I'll stick with it.

Oh the irony! I love how you stated the Macs are for games then you change your statement when people prove you otherwise. Also teachers only use Macs because Apple is a cigaretteget who donates their computers to schools to convince students to get macs.

That was an example dumbass, The real thing is that MOST like 90% of Mac users are people with important lives. And ive yet to see a school with Mac. My teachers BOUGHT their macs because they said they couldn't trust pc for their lesson plans. and i got a Mac WAY before my teacher did because my sisters laptop froze in the first 10 days without downloading anything. Ive had my Mac for 3 years and it's yet to freeze, or even lag for that matter.

You keep relating back to losing files. Pc's don't randomly lose files. If you lose a file then you're loving handicapped. I lose more files on a Mac then a PC because it's so loving hard to browse the hardrive on a Mac.
