Author Topic: Problem with ps3 controller  (Read 1626 times)

When trying to connect my ps3 controller to my laptop for the N64 emulator I have, I get some problems. I've installed the driver and everything but when I connect it to my laptop the four red lights on the top of the ps3 controller start to blink and never stop.

Anyone got any ideas?

I think that means it's searching for something to connect to. You probably did something wrong.
Or I'm totally wrong. Did you plug it into your laptop?

No Im waiting for I to plug itself in...

Yes I pluged it in and installed the driver but the light just keep blinking. My computer recognizes the controller though and says its working just fine.

Generally that means it's charging. Other then that I'm not sure.

I've installed eveything correctly but when I go into the test program where the game controller is located, I move things around but nothing responds.

Read "Method D"
All of it.
Download the drivers here: http://tamamyikesu.web.fc2.com/sd_devicedriver.html

You only need two of them. The normal one and the ForceFeedbackDriver.

Use Motionjoy i got 2 controllers work today feels good man

Um. Yes it does.
This one even allows use of 6-axis if you figure it out.

PS3 has no games
I only like PS3 for Little Big planet 1&2

In case you don't believe me for some reason:

This is about using a PS3 controller on a computer. Not about PS3 games.

i was talking about PS3 in general.

I also think playing a N64 emulator with a PS3 Controller is just wrong.

Okay this isn't about opinions on PS3 controllers, it's about trying to get it to work.

You're either a troll, or some cigarettegy 360 fanboy. (before you even start, I am not saying the 360 is bad, I just don't like fanboys)
