Author Topic: PC FPS gamers more skilled then 360 ones  (Read 9539 times)

Punch-em-up games are better on consoles.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA Sims 3 is like child's play. All you need is a decent CPU/GPU/1-2 GB of Ram to run it. I'm pretty sure a 500-600$ pre-built rig can do that.
Outdated everything.

PC has more kills and stuff , because all you have to do is open a file and change some values.

wat?

I find it much easier to aim with a mouse, then with a brown townog stick.

You can aim smoothly with a mouse, while aiming with an brown townog stick seems jerky: you can aim some-what smoothly by aiming one way quickly but when it comes down to trying to pen-point aiming it feels very jerky.

And I started out playing consoles, now I play both.

All you do is click humans.
CLICKING.
I compare PC gaming to one of those "beat the computer in cursor placement"-games.

I was referring to how you only have to change X and Y to hack on a PC.

Many games are a lot more than just that. The only thing that comes to mind when you say that is MMORPGs, more specifically, RuneScape.

That doesn't always work. In fact, that never works on games that aren't Peer to Peer, or programmed by a nutcase (flyff, damage was calculated on the client in early versions).

brown townog sticks are not jerky...I have no clue what you are even trying to say.

I probably just need some new controllers, the ones I have are jerky as crap, because a little bit of dust is stuck somewhere under the brown townog sticks.

yes they are jerky lol.
every 360 player i have ever watched on ANY first person shooter is jerking around.
its ridiculous how joysticks move you around.

jesus christ lol

walking straight and steady
*jerks a tad to the right to adjust direction
walking straight and steady
*jerks upward to clearly see horizon
walking straight and steady
(enemy appears)
*cross hair flies all the forget around the screen in a messy "strafing" and spray spam. jerk right an inch jerk left an inch jerk right an inch jerk up an inch.

the only way i can brown townogy this, is like how a squirrel eats a nut it found.
how its jerking its head around in different directions to view his surroundings lol

such unsmooth movements, contrary to realism as well. how can people not get headaches from that?
and its got to be far worse on a tv's stuffty quality to.

a mouse and keyboard offers smooth movements and aiming.
stafing is actually done properly and effectively.

I prefer Xbox 360 still mainly because these 2 reasons

1. Gaming computers are expensive. I'm not poor, but really, I could settle for a $200 console instead of a $800+ computer.

2. All my good friends play Xbox 360. I like playing with friends more than strangers.

Well no matter which you believe is better, PC gaming is dying fast.

It's not dying at all. Every game I've played recently increases in popularity.

If getting more members = dying then that would make sense.
