PC gaming is dying, it has been discussed all over gaming websites in the past couple years.
Its far too expensive for games exactly alike to console gaming, that is the main reason.
Discussed by a bunch of ignorant people who can't afford it.
The PC has FAR more games than any console. Some low-end and some high-end. A $50-150 computer could likely run plenty of good games. Sure not a lot of the newer and more popular games, but still a lot of games.
Oh and speaking of popularity. Look at the number of players on Steam, WoW, Runescape, and plenty of other communities/games. (No, I don't care if you think some of those games suck. I don't like them either. That's completely aside from the point)
Do they look like they're dying and have no room for expansion?
They are ALWAYS expanding.
When you look at consoles, you gotta wait like 5-6 years for the next gen (which actually has less room to expand than PCs), and like 2-3 years for them to actually come out with any major changes or features.
I'm not against consoles. I'm just saying that PC gaming isn't dying.
