There is already wing effecting emmiters in maps. As for everything else, you could change the direction gravity pulls you.

Its impossible to have multiple types of gravity running at the same time I thought? Or am I completely misunderstanding your post.

Make the projectile just an emitter.

No model.
Yay emmitter lagg. :P

You can have as many different gravity zones as you want. That's basically how water bricks work.

Physical zones could gently blow players around. I don't think they effect vehicles but you could use triggers for that I'm sure. I can't think of a good way to blow emitters around.

Fine..fine.

No emitter, No model. Just have some unseen force pushing you. Perfect...

Still, projectile data everywhere.
Projectiles aren't really the best way.

this sounds like a good idea, but im just going to put this out there, once we have wind, we will start to want realistic fluid simulation.
we're bits of plastic, why would we have clothing that could catch the wind?

I know, it just seemed kind of cool to me.

Then you don't need a projectile. Learn what you're talking about.

nope.
if you have emitter lag your computer sucks, i can see lots of emitters at the same time with no/barely any lag.

Of course you dont. I was getting at being able to make controlled bursts of 'wind', not some lame map effect.
