That post was mostly a joke. Mostly. I still don't believe we need to step in. Everytime some country needs assistance with their own problems we seem to feel the need to help. Our soldiers die fighting for something that doesn't even affect us in any way.

What makes us the global police force? Why is it suddenly our job to step in to other country's affairs?
