Author Topic: Blockland on Xbox 360  (Read 5856 times)

I would like to see blockland come to some of the major video game consoles like the Xbox or the PS3 or all of them this would be very nice and im sure alot of people would buy it. :D
Wow seriously? this is like what? the 51th request? its impossible to do this. look at how many controls there are(and addons with keybinds.) the console controllers dont have enough buttons.

We've already been over how it's not impossible, at all, but thanks for reading the thread.

Okay, ill say it again. This has been shot down by Badspot himself. This will never become reality if the creator/owner of the game doesn't like the idea.

We already know that. I'm arguing that having a control scheme that works on an Xbox 360 controller is far from impossible, not that the game will get ported to the Xbox.

There could have "Blockland Adventure Mode" for Xbox 360. I think it would be fun.
C:

This, would be epic. You could use the Xbox keyboard for it.

Would you mind going about explaining how you would chat in game?
mic?

they know that, they just dont like the fact that its not going to work, and refuse to admit it.

There isn't much of a way to describe it simply.

Basically, there are cables that connect from a video slot on your computer to the same connections on your TV that the Xbox uses. Blockland shows up on TV (assuming you're playing in full screen), and you're good to go.

On a side note, you could find a way to map the Blockland controls onto the Xbox USB controller.
I did the same thing with the Classic Controller for Wii once, except it was using a program called Wiiji.

no

HYPERNO
NO.

There are multiple ways to deal with this...

For starters, Xbox 360 and PS3 technically CAN handle the game and using the buttons on the controller IS possible.

Reason why it can't be and never be on 360/PS3 because...
Copyrights... Pain in the ass...
Add-ons will be impossible to apply here... Also Managing add-ons will be a hassle (Leave game, delete from hard drive?)

If you really want to play Blockland for console your only chance is to play like a console buy using a controller connected to your computer which has a splitter connected to your TV.

I have a 360 not a PS3 so here is a quick run down on what you can do...

You can use a wired controller and it will work fine just plug it in to your computer or if you only have wireless you need to order this Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows to be able to plug it in. I have a new modern LCD TV (Its a VIZIO 47 inch) to which I bought me a 25 foot VGA cable with audio so it carries both video and audio. Plug it in and set your settings. After that just download a program called SwitchBlade or if you have a better program you can use it, choice is yours. Set the controllers up and you got yourself Blockland running on your TV with your controller settings plus no monthly fee and unlimited online access :D

I don't have a PS3 so someone fill in the blanks for me :P
