I'm pretty sure I had one of those, then the power supply died and Best Buy told me to get a whole new computer.
I did
My brother bought my old one and fixed it the next day (richard)
Then it died within the same year. (Victory!)

My other brother also got one the same year and it's ready to die as we speak. XPS doesn't seem to last very long, your time will come soon enough.
