Well.. I did remake the TF2 ammoboxes from the original high poly models ripped straight from the game..
Well that's because you made a lower poly model on top of the high poly model. You used it as a kind of template, but none of the original was in the final product (Unless of course you did put some of the original in, but I have no way of knowing.)
Furthermore, it was fine for you to do that with the ammo boxes, because that was a sort of primary source. You were trying to make ammoboxes from TF2, so you used the ones from TF2 as a template. If you do that with Furling's models, there is some chance of error because it is more of a secondary source. He made it from the movie, and your model would be made from his. I'm sure Furling's models are amazingly accurate, but
my point is that the high poly models are not very useful.god my responses are getting longer and longer
