Author Topic: A question to christheads (yay reli-war)  (Read 14213 times)

The bible describes going to heaven as you losing your memories, your thought/wants/needs/personality. You cannot look down on your fAmily and friends, and there is no reflecting on your previous life, or even having an enjoyment of being in heaven at all.
You then exist as a mindless drone to forever praise god.

If a heaven does exist, it sounds like a hell.
And would be contrary to earning a afterlife if you lost who you were anyways.

Religous people fail.
And christians don't even know any of this because they don't read the bible lol.

I am sorry to sound mean, Bisjac, but shouldn't you have mentioned that you copied and pasted that?
Either that, or you just randomly started to actually use capital letters.

Reincarnation, anyone? :3

Why are we born on earth even though when we die we go to heaven?
Supposedly, God gave us freewill so only the pure of heart can achieve holiness and go to heaven.
Why don't we go straight to heaven?
So you appreciate it more.  And, once again, so only the pure of heart go.

Rofl wtf are you babbling about.

Hinduism is my favorite religion.
I never said I was Hindu. :U

I would be a bit miserable if I have the slightest memory of my life before I went to Heaven.

Christians believe if you are good you go to heaven, and if you're bad you go to hell.

Not just go to heaven for no reason.

Supposedly...
So you don even know? You base your own spiritual knowledge of 3rd hand info that even you don't fully believe yet?

wtf are you babbling about.
Not at all. I'm just going by the bible, that you aren't. See above quote of yours.

Christians have a nasty habbit of making things up as they go along. The bible hasn't changed in roughly 1700 years. That info should be pretty solid for you by now.

I am atheist, I am just trying to inform.  Don't go making assumptions.

If you are going by the bible, quote please.  I have one in my house.

Did I say you were?
No.

But Hinduism is a major religion that believes in reincarnation.

There are people who believe this, you know. :o

I can pull up quotes in an hour or so, I'm on a phone in a lobby at some clinic right now.
By then though this will be on page 50 and way off topic from that
