I was raised by my divorced mom. My dad only influenced the first few years of my life when I didn't really understand right from wrong. So what's that about needing married parents to have morals?

Gay marriage is Gay.
And nothing of value was learned that day.

Do gay marriage petitions taste like cupcakes?
Also Gay Marriage is pretty wrong. You are supposed to marry the other gender. Not the same. Every relegion is against it pretty much. And the Republican Party.
Edit: Also if your parents are not married does that mean that you have no legal guardian?
you finna get raped. (by most people in this thread)

What? Your legal guardian is whoever your legal guardian is. Birth mother, birth father, adopted parent, aunt, grandpa, etc.

I was raised by my birth parents. They have been together for 30 years now and never married.

I think the point Otis is trying to get at is marriage isn't required for a child to grow up. That as long as they have some functional guidance, it doesn't necessarily have to be two married birth parents.
Marriage is a necessity,

-100 respect.

Marriage is a necessity,
You still haven't provided anything supporting this.

You're dumb.

I'm neutral since I don't give a stuff about who marries who.
It's just stupid that there are people who actually are dumb enough to think that love can just be between female and male. Well yes, maybe for reproducing but who cares about reproducing nowadays.

It's as if I would go to a church tomorrow, protest and be against hetero marriage.

Support, doesn't affect me, don't know why I should care whether or not homoloveuals should marry.

I cannot fathom why anyone with a logical mind would even bother.

Yes *Magick* Mage, that is exactly what I meant. _Rave_ can't seem to understand parents can raise children without marriage.
Well, I think he is working on a basis that two birth parents should be married prior to them having a child. That way, there will be some structure in the child's life and one parent doesn't just decided "not my problem lolbye". And while I full heartingly agree that two people should only have a child after marriage, I also understand that it is perfectly reasonable for a child to be raised by only one parent, or by grandparents, or by family friend, or who ever else so they may be raised by. And I also know that children can turn out perfectly fine and successful that way, just as they could with two married parents.
