I dont get why Alduin is the villain. Alduin is Akatosh and the savior of TES Oblivion. Without Alduin/Akatosh,  no avatar and Martin wouldn't turn into a bad-ass, flaming dragon.
Where is it said that Alduin is Akatosh? I'm pretty sure you're pulling this out of your ass. Unless this was just released or something.

im scared my current laptop wont be able to run this game ; ;
i would be happy with max resolution, and dropped all other settings is fine.

quad 2.8
6gig mem
nvidia 330m

these fears follow me to the new duke nukem ,and bf3 as well :(
sadgasm
I'm actually worried about this as well, for both BF3 and Skyrim. If I can't run BF3 the way it should be... time for an upgrade. Any way you can just upgrade your graphics card?

I need to get a better PC so I can buy this and actually enjoy it.

well technically it can be upgraded. sony has specfic drivers for these nvidia cards and other models of my laptop use newer vid chips.

but the problem is, nowhere can you just buy the laptop video chips... i have looked everywhere.
they seem to only come with storemade laptops.
and if you find them gutted out and on ebay, they are used and i would prefer not :(

That sucks. When did you get the laptop? Could always get a new one :P

Yeah for the most part laptop graphics can't be upgraded.

Buying a laptop capable of running either games at respectable framerates while still looking pretty would cost quite a bit of money. It would be alot more cost efficient to drop $200 into a desktop but I guess that may not be an option.

On that note I should add that the gameplay footage they showed was touched up ALOT. It looks pretty demanding but it shouldn't be too bad. I'll probably end up upgrading for it though...

Alduin is the Norse counterpart to Akatosh, although quite different.

As I recall uesp has a pretty extensive library of all the books from all the games, including some from Daggerfall. So here is the relevant book. It's actually one of the few books I do remember from Morrowind, that I didn't just scroll through as quickly as possible to see if it was a skill book or not. I don't really read much of the books or lore in the game, mainly because I just don't like fonts or the resolution. It might fit in with the theme but if it's more than a paragraph, I want it in 11pt Helvetica, not giant curly letters.

However,
Quote
only superficially resembles his counterpart in the Nine Divines.

Mother of God, that's beautiful.
HUD could use a bit of work though, I think it should be more like in Oblivion where health, mana, and fatigue were grouped together at the bottom left. That worked well, in this setup they just seem to get in the way a bit.
I hope it's not the finished work either, the textures were a bit meh towards the beginning. Getting it on PC.
