I've never performed in front of a lot of people. I need some tips on how not to be nervous. Should I just keep my eyes on the director and the music? I'm not sure...

I know I can do it, I just don't wanna mess up... When I'm under pressure I tend to rush and mess stuff up badly.

I had a concert last night. Since we are such a small band, we played and were just cracking jokes to the audience. I play the trombone so I'm behind everyone else. Good times, don't worry

How many people are in the band? Do you know where you are sitting? What do you play?

85 people in the band, I sit right in the middle and play the saxophone.

Well don't loving squeak, just look at the music and the conductor, and your band is fairly large, it's normal for the Annoying Orangeets to suck ass

You are in the sixth grade. It's going to be bad, but you won't be the only one. There's 84 other people in the band besides you. Also you should be keeping your eyes on the director anyway to know how fast/slow you should be playing.
