Besides my mom cheated on my dad and she didn't have any money to leave but she did anyways in LESS THEN a year. And if he has to give her money or she'll call the cops, you do realize you can contest this in court if your dad isn't doing anything wrong, and he's not obligated to give her a dime in the first place. If he goes to a divorce lawyer and files for divorce they can determine who get's the house and the children. I know I've gone through this myself. It was settled out of court that my mom to leave and take the car and my dad keep the house and split custody. And as I was saying my mom had no money and she got a stuffty apartment for $300 a month, which if you're living off of minimum wage is affordable, not saying it's not hard but it's affordable.

I didn't make the OP, so I don't know whether she put the cheating part or not. Had you read the OP but not the topic, you would know that he was being cheated on I think. Still, it's up for trying. I'll ask dad about it, he's asleep right now.
