Author Topic: The idea of Heaven: is it really that great?  (Read 5658 times)

I didn't say my side of the argument is logical.  It doesn't have to be logical either, but if you disagree with what I say here, its your choice.

Why go to "heaven" to worship a figure of our imagination? No way. That's just loving crazy.

What if you don't fear?
I can say I hate being burned, and I won't try get burned, but I am not afraid of getting burned, nor am I afraid of getting drowned or much else. So if I do not fear, will there be no hell?

No person fears nothing, but if you don't fear anything, you're not human, everyone spiritually fears something.

You can't tell people you're the most brave men in the entire world because there's nothing for you to fear. Even the bravest man in the earth fears something.

Contradiction?
No, those were literary references.

Uh, no

It is ENTIRELY possible for someone to fear nothing, even without being a sociopath. There's situations where someone has had their brain damaged and actually feel no emotion whatsoever. No love, hate, anger, or fear.

What is your side of the argument?

Heaven, I mean seriously? There's so much "Documented" on hell. But why not Heaven?

Why would I wanna forget the next Riddler?
I laughed really hard at this.

Heaven is whatever you want it to be. Like inception it can be whatever you want it to be. You are not stuck being perfect you can be whoever you want go be. Heaven is like th sims. You do whatever you wat to and no matter what you can keep changing it. Heaven is not a paradise you are "trapped" in. That is why it is called life after death. God wants us to be happy. We can be a butterfly, a cat, or a dnosaur. Heaven is the ultimate board game. Honestly, if you payed attention to God's word, you should have know all of his by now.

What is your side of the argument?
I don't trust you with it :c

Shut the forget up. None of that is even in the bible. Idiot.

Shut the forget up. It could be mentioned indirectly. Idiot.

Heaven, I mean seriously? There's so much "Documented" on hell. But why not Heaven?
Not really. Most of the perception of Hell comes directly from Dante's Inferno, which was actually more of a cynical work than religious text (it was written in revenge against Pope Boneface [Bone-Ah-Fach-Ey]).

None of that is referenced anywhere in any religious text.

The idea of Valhalla, is it really that great? Damn right it is.

What is your major malfunction? Do you lack the ability to think? His description of heaven is not mentioned anywhere in the bible.
