I'm sure it's damn easy to track the IPs considering he's hosting the servers.

No, because it's costing him money to run this.

Just how it costs Badspot to run Blockland, so he makes every user pay $20 to use the master server.

Of course, you pay monthy for Kalphiter's dedicated server because it has to do a lot more work than authenticate and post server info.

I wonder where he got the IPs from. If they are from the logs of his server then they are somewhat okay.

Thing is, I don't.
However, I use servers hosted on them and if this changes then it would work worse for me.

1. From the master list, new IPs are checked for every minute. Logged since March 31st (usage here)
2. server logs, indeed: there were 17,000 IPs before I added logged IPs. Logs from my own BL server are about half the size as all the others combined
