FRAPS makes everything's fps crap. Oh well, it's tolerable.

They say if you set FRAPS to save the videos to a different drive then the one the game's running off of you'll get no FPS drop at all.

I tried it but it didn't change anything for me, But I have a pretty stuff system.

Mack, do you drive with the keyboard or with a gamepad?  Or a wheel?

I play both Dirt 2 and Grid and I use the keyboard.

Drove this using a Logitech Dual Action Gamepad.

Logitech Dual Action Pad

I have a Logitech Rumblepad 2 (samething but with vibration for force feedback), but the game doesn't recognize the sticks correctly.  If I remember, it thought that right was the same as up.  I couldn't figure out a way to fix it.  Did you have any similar problems, and if so, how did you fix them?

re-calibrate controller?

re-calibrate controller?
I've had gamepads with the same problem and re-calibrating didn't fix it.

I just said forget it and went for the USB 360 controller. It's $30, but at least it works :/

Pretty cool, inspires me to upload some Flatout: Ultimate Carnage gameplay.
