you can "study" anything. studying is just learning about something.

I usually draw dragons with horns facing both ways.

I'm having a hard time understanding what you mean. I assume you meant one curving up and another curving down at the same time. In such a case, it is a male.






I need to work on my pencil strokes.

They're too thick and not proportioned right.

Finished thing. I'm sorry i'm not that good with shadows. I have a long time before i can even do something important with drawings.
Edit : Yeah i seriously forgeted up with the shadows.

I only used layers for the sketch of it, because i suck at drawing cartoon characters that i didn't make.

My set-up is generally like this:

Light/dark shading
Dark/light shading
Outline
Colors
More colors
Even more colors
Background

Shadows go with dark.
