we should do this thing where we pick something to draw and we all draw it and compare results

how does it take all of you so few lines to pull off fairly good looking stuff
i can draw but it takes me 20 minutes to get a decent circle, any faster and disproportionality kicks in

i make a line, erase that it was too far from this line, erase that it was too long, erase the other line it was a bit messy and AHA i've made two lines excellent >:C

It's either digital, good erasing, or experience. That's pretty much it.

All three.

Digital allows aiding when drawing straight lines (holding shift down and drawing, or shift click then click again) or simple curves (pen tool). Layers also help with making tight sketches, as you can adjust their opacity on the fly.

When making tight sketches without using the pen or shift button, I usually draw over and over the same line again to define and darken it, and then use the eraser to erase excess, making the line thinner and more finished-looking.

And fine motor skills come with practice.

Sounds good why not?

That's actually how my process goes, I tend to have lots of little lines forming larger lines simply because that's what I'm used to. I tend to later take the lines and darken them with a pencil or something, erasing whatever's excess.
Generally it comes from lots and lots of practice.

I'm behind this idea, it sounds fun.

All three.

Depends on which program.

I want in on this if it happens.

ALSO IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED

I'm taking some robot suggestions. Doesn't matter too much on the specifics.

If you are going to get detailed please drop me a PM with the info.
