how do you give hair more volume solely by line
i'm talking super exaggerated hair points, like kingdom hearts kind of points

like damn look at those points
except without all the coloring
whenever i try it sticks out in dumb directions that don't make sense, or it hangs too far down and looks wet, or it doesnt hang far enough and it looks like it was sprayed with concrete.

i attempted what you've described.

is this what you mean? (its tiny as forget because windows 7 ms paint is forgeten bullstuff and gives my crap stuffty aliasing for some reason)

i mean without even varying the line thickness but yeah that's pretty much it

The maracas are kind of oddly placed, the one in the left paw needs to be rotated a bit, it looks like it's going through the wrist area almost, same for the other one but might look better if it's just moved down some
