how does the water work? to me it looks less like a roundy shore and more like the water is pushing the land up

Painting the water and its shape across the land was one of my most unsubstantial areas, what I was intending was a wide perspective on the left side of the lake and a close perspective on the right. I should've made the reflection less intending on the left side, oops.

I like the mountains best, everything else could use more work/detail or something

yeah, those are some damn cool mountains. nice job, especially for one of your first paintings

oh yeah something about the water reflection too, usually when i see reflections in unrustled jimmie waters, there's a clear mirror. there aint no trees or mountains in the water (unless u count the green, which is too light to be the trees)

A lot of people seem to really like the mountains over the front landscape when I questioned them. So here is an earlier picture of the painting when I was done with the mountains.

Made from pure imagination, no references used what so ever.

Pretty decent, eh?

Add a little circle of light on the face so it's not in total shadow.
